The best description of WORM is that it is an uncut creative diamond: in addition to being multifaceted it is a place that welcomes many different 'communities' that enrich Rotterdam and the rest of the world. Although this may not be the first impression you get when you enter WORM through the entrance in the Boomgaardstraat - former location of the Dutch museum of photography. You might conclude that this is an odd location and an odd collection of art geeks, rockers, casual hipsters and what have you. In other words: a fringe hang-out for eccentrics. 

After entering you will find that WORM houses a wonderful bar aptly named Wunderbar. This unique bar offers a wide range of beers, non-alcoholic beverages and vegetarian bites which you can enjoy in one of the many cosy nooks the place has to offer. The unconventional interior creates a wonderful ambience that attracts a diverse and colourful crowd.

The great thing about WORM is that is isn't aimed at a specific group. It is a welcoming environment for anyone and everyone who wants to be able to express themselves fully. This approach has resulted in WORM being a venue for a number of incredible events such as Queer Klub Night, Zine Klub meetups and events organized by the renowned Performance Bar, KLAUN and House of Boys.
